Brand Mascot Illustration and Apparel Design
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Leña is an independent restaurant and pizzeria located in a quiet corner of Cantabria, Spain, centred around the tradition of the wood-fired oven.
For this project, I created a brand mascot illustration representing a woodcutter, designed as part of the restaurant’s visual identity. The character was developed to reflect the concept of firewood and the central element of the brand — wood and fire — which are essential to the restaurant’s cooking process.
The illustration brings personality and narrative to the brand, helping to build a recognisable graphic identity that can be applied across different materials, including apparel, packaging and promotional graphics.
The visual style combines bold shapes and expressive lines to create a memorable character that connects the restaurant’s rustic atmosphere with a contemporary graphic approach.
